Just as a quick aside: I have been reorganizing all the items that I have in my garage (after a 14 year residence) and picked up one of the large plastic bins that had become disorganized over time. The rim that normally retains the cover broke off in my hands! I was able to gently remove the entire edge. That part of the bin must have been made of a different type of plastic as the main part because the rest of it was still extremely pliable. Just beware: some plastics deteriorate in the heat of our garages.
