I would still look at lithium iron phosphate, LiFePO4, as a one and done solution. The life of the battery is about 10+ years, and it charges like the deep cycle lead acid, but lead acid takes maintenance to maintain the proper water level living in a high heat area. LiFePO4 is a sealed battery, and doesn't explode or burn spontaneously.
