Very impressive indeed. Agree on the crimping, I had to jump through loops to figure out what was wrong with our new Quiet Tech last winter. With the help of Villagetinker, the problem was isolated to a bad ground crimp. After cutting out the crimp, and soldering the ground into place, everything has been perfect. I think the bashing of the Villages Golf Carts is primarily regarding their prices. As the video clearly points out, their scale and efficiency is unmatched. With those economies of scale, it’s reasonable to expect they can deliver carts to customers at a lower expense than their competitors, yet they charge a significant premium. A place like Country Village Power, that operates on a much smaller scale, sells carts for significantly less and appears to be doing quite well.
I found it interesting that their outdoor storage facilities for golf carts is segregated. The gas carts can be left outside, but the electric carts are kept under a roof to protect the sensitive electronics.
