I agree with Advanced Urology, however getting an appointment on short notice will be very difficult. If you are having pain (been there done that) you could contact one of the Urgent care facilities, or an ER. Contact your insurance carrier (ours has a 24/7/365 nurse on duty) and ask about their recommendations for your situation. I was advised that if any one or more symptoms occurred to go to the ER. In my case I was lucky and passed both stones.
I was an existing patient, and lead time for follow-up appointment was about 3 weeks, 2 more weeks for the cat scan, and then around 2 weeks for the follow up.
I would also have a discussion with your current doctor as to what to do in case you start showing symptoms.
