Sunday morning notice a DTE guy in their backyard working. He took a cold Coke, knowing worker was from Detroit area. Info was power should be restored in 12-24. It came on midnight Sunday, but has been on/off as more are added to the grid.
Their cell towers are down, as of today. Sadly the town had 8 generators running for certain things, and they were all stolen. Their main road into their area is still closed from down trees, a new sinkhole mid road, appeared Monday, so will be awhile. They have an old narrow logging road open, not ideal but better than no roads at all.

Ha, that’s not terribly far from my family then.
It is a mess up there for sure. The last member of my family to get power restored was on Monday mid-day. Supplies are still hard to come by and they’ll be cutting trees and repairing roads for years.
