* Please be “Fully Aware” that there are many “Storm-Chasers” (Non-Villages roofers) that have come into The Villages to solicit you post Hurricane 🌀 Helene/Milton to sign your rights over to them to manage your personal roof claim for your personal property. There have been regulatory changes in FL that don’t allow AOB’s (Assignment of Benefits), but these chasers will do all they can to squeeze your insurance cap for all they can get. Please DON’T fall prey to these solicitors. Use reliable, local, and honest roofers here in The Villages who don’t practice these dishonest solicitations.

Please provide this information to friends, neighbors, and Villages families. We know a lot of people may/will have food lost from potential power outages.

FEMA Assistance/funding also available for hotel accommodation if possibly needed (More of a coastal concern than a local Villages concern, but one can never be too cautious).

If you are unaware or out-of-state, please have a Villages neighbor go have a look at your home (Villa or Single Family property) post storm or feel free to contact me directly (A friend and Villager) so I (we) can ensure your Villages property is free of any wind shears, barometric impacts, debris damage, missing hardware, etc.
