Most insurance companies are not going to pay for a new roof replacement unless you have extensive damage.
The ARC should put out a statement that if you are replacing your shingles with ones that are similar and a color that is in line with other colors in the Villages you need not get ARC approval. With all the damages in Florida the color selection will be limited.
Any thoughts? I wonder if anyone on the ARC reads these posts.

it's actually spelled out in your CDD docs. Some do some don't. For the most part, most (I think Sumter on south) do not need to IF it's same /same. The authorization currently exists in the docs to "return the property to the state it was in before the damage" .
