Same here, except I was a young girl, lol. My mom was such a huge fan we went to games often except for when I was left home babysitting my two younger brothers. I also remember her listening to Vin on the radio. Cool thing is where my husband and I lived in SoCal before moving here we shopped at the same supermarket as Vin, and before he passed we’d see him occasionally. Such a great guy! So friendly. When watching the games on TV nowadays it’s so difficult for me to listen to the very dull announcers because I was so spoiled by Vin. These days I admit I’m more of a fair weather fan, but my daughter and youngest brother (both in SoCal) are major fans. They’d both make my mom so happy if she was still here. Go Dodger blue!
