As long as they are deep cycle lead acid batteries. I would compare duty cycles which based on number of plates how long cycle lasts. At 1/2 price I would imagine duty cycles are considerably less? IMO another way to tell is weight of lead acid battery. IMO More weight means more plates longer cycles.
