You Sir are correct. My wife and I were season pass holders for a number of years. The way we used WDW was to go 6 to 8 times a year and stay for 3 days and 2 nights on property. The 1st. time they tried to charge us for parking at the hotel, I asked why were they doing this after so many years of free parking at hotels as well as free parking we still got at the parks? The nice guy checking us in said "I'll tell you..... when we were at a meeting and this was being explained to us I asked the same question. The BIG SHOT giving the talk said to the entire room of employees "BECAUSE WE CAN!" He then said to me "I'm sorry" and "Walt is probably rolling in his grave." (I don't think he was buried.) I lived with it til they got "Woke" and I decided that I had enough. Good bye WDW.
