unfortunately, the US economic strategy is the lowest cost producer wins, regardless of quality. Quality has always been an issue with chinese goods, as far back as the 1970s, when quality matters for longevity.
The problem is that most if not all LIFEPO4 (LifePo) batteries are made in China, and some are resold, or others are assembled here in US, and then sold. Finding the best US assemblers with the best quality control for the best price is the consumers' responsibility under US economic policy. .
