I don’t have a Roku so I don’t know what it means to load channels. Does “Roku live tv” mean tv through the internet or do you have an antenna for live tv channels? If you don’t have an antenna yet can still watch something then at least part of your internet connection is still working.
That it is affecting both boxes is interesting. Three possibilities come to mind: a problem with the internet connection; a problem with a recent software update, or; a problem at Roku.
VT already gave you advice about the internet connection.
If the problem was with a software update or with Roku then it’s annoying but not much you can do except look for confirmation. There are others on this board that use Roku and providing the info RG123 asked for will help find someone with the same hardware who might be able to confirm the problem.
I would think there are Roku user boards elsewhere on the internet too. If the problem is at Roku then there might be many people asking about it. You might try asking google about the issue to see what others are saying.

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
Confirmation bias is real; I can find any number of articles that say so.
