The Village decents have been studied for many years, and have many medical articles written. Most of us have lived long lives into their mid to late nineties, however we all have passed on a rare kidney issue every other generation.

I am the first gen who was not born of both parents from same village area. Only 3 out of 19 cousins that have the ability to only need 4 hours of sleep. Out of my 3 children 2 have the same ability, and one of our grandchildren shows same unique abilities.
We have zero devices that cause light in bedroom including clocks. Since we awake at the same time, no need for light interference of alarm clocks.
I do not nap, and when working if I missed my sleep time, I could with zero issues wait until following night.
Travel does not effect me, I just don’t sleep until my next time slot, but we usually took 6-8 weeks in summers traveling Europe, US and Canada, so plenty of time to adjust.

I attend a sleep clinic once a year for the continued study as does my children and grand. Since I brought up the time change inquiry the last two years of only 3 hours, My next study will be on next time change.

My question was of the general population, Do you have sleep issues due to time change.
You are very lucky. You can accomplish a lot more than the average person that needs 8 hours of sleep. I wish that I could do that. I sleep for 9 hours many nights because I wake up to go to the bathroom every 3 hours. Therefore I never make it to the deep type of sleep like you are experiencing. And no - the change of daylight savings time did NOT affect me. I am messed up either way.
