OK, you are asking the wrong audience, you need to be asking your cat (sorry I could not resist) I have had cats for over 50 years and never used an automatic litter box. If the cat does not like it, it is not going to work. I have found a regular litter box, and a foldable seat work very well for me. I setup the seat, get a one time bag that i saved from shopping empty the 2 litter boxes, close the bag, and fold the seat back up. I would not try to change an older cat, IMHO.
