Now there is a water sewage treatment plant located just north on Buena Vista from Bonita.
The holding ponds spread around TV hold runoff from the streets only. It is this water that is used in the irrigation system for residential us in areas south of 466.
The discharge from the sewer treatment plants go into their own holding ponds (I had a tour of the treatment plant by Beuna Vista and Bonita and its holding pond is adjacent to the plant). This water, along with street runoff is used for golf course irrigation. So, despite rumors to the contrary, no treated water from the sanitary sewers is used on residential lawns.
