These are temporary gimmicks and being in The Villages as a licensed contractor for over 20 years …And a FL state inspector, we have found that this stuff is a waste of good money.
The county will want to see the decking and underlay so when you get your insurance renewal and they drop you, then you will know you have made a poor choice.
I don’t condone pushy roof sales or insurance fraud, but I do know that the Tri-Counties are bearing down on all homeowners to stop these gimmicks because they will not truly extend the roof and there are warning signs on these contractors disclosures about “true-efficiency” and “extension effectiveness”….
