...........According to NCEI's statistical analysis 2024 is on track to be the WARMEST year globally on record. From Jan to Oct 2024 it has been 2.3 degrees F ABOVE the 120 year average.
Hottest on "record" yes ... but only since 1979 which is when global satellite data began. Also note, that the heating spike was caused by Tonga's unprecedented water-vapor -- and not CO2.
