The high end hoity toity courses that lease the newest technology might have electric carts, but not everywhere. Played Southampton CC in western Massachusetts today and drove a 20 year old carbureted Yamaha that ran like a clock. Beautiful course and great deal, midweek senior green fee of $35 with a cart. That being said, I did have to choke the cart to get it running on the first hole, but that happens before the cart warms up and the temperature is in the low 40’s.

All of my county courses (very nice public courses) us Yamaha Gas and are currently switching over to the new Drive2 carts when the older ones finally give up the ghost...
