I think that over 30% of the golf cars are "juiced up" to go 30 MPH or more. It is like a drag strip mentality in the residential blocks. I agree that they are wearing out their vehicle engines prematurely. You can notice the LOUD NOISE as an over-revving golf car engine goes by while you are listening to the radio and sitting or working in the front yard. I also think that the brakes on a golf car are NOT good enough to encourage tail gating. Also, when they are going 30+MPH they don't take corners very well.
.......And once again I believe that the Police are doing our community a disservice by allowing so many "juiced-up" golf cars to continue their RECKLESS driving.
