We called TV Insurance to see what are options were and they gave us an appointment for a phone consultation mid-December, since any offers were only good for 30 days.
On Wednesday, we received a 2nd letter, rescinding the original cancellation. Telling us our insurance will, in fact, remain in effect.
We'll call next week to confirm and see if they can tell us what our new rate will be, but it was certainly a surprise to get that letter...

The same thing happened to us with Farmers. Our policy with them expires tomorrow at midnight. They gave us several non renewal notices and then last week sent us a letter stating they had to renew us for another year because of an emergency declaration from DeSantis.
My feeling is thanks for nothing! Dump excellent policy holders who have never filed a claim, and then reluctantly send us a renewal notice at the 11th hour only because you were forced to, with the full intention of dumping us as soon as legally possible. No thanks, we have obviously already committed to a new insurance Company that wants our business, see ya!
