I have a quote from Southern Oaks Insurance, for about the same price as progressive currently,, though he can't write a policy until after the new year when their rates go up for a new policy start within 30 days or so

Haven't decided until we explore more in January

Have to disagree. 6 owners on my block alone were dropped by Progressive---all full-time Florida residents, all with homeowner's exemptions.
