We called TV Insurance to see what are options were and they gave us an appointment for a phone consultation mid-December, since any offers were only good for 30 days.
On Wednesday, we received a 2nd letter, rescinding the original cancellation. Telling us our insurance will, in fact, remain in effect.
We'll call next week to confirm and see if they can tell us what our new rate will be, but it was certainly a surprise to get that letter...

I use an independent insurance agent and switch every few years or at least check rates with my agent.

I a permanent resident of FL My home value is $400k with $1000 deductible with 2% for hurricane damage. I pay $1570 a year. No claims in FL, had 2 roofs in CO replaced due to hail damage…. Not sure if that followed me here.
