Not whining or shaking, just keeping an open mind and noticing trends and correlations.

Are you still driving your 4000 pound 18mpg SUV to get a beer? Trying to minimize your energy use? Going without air conditioning? Haa
And God forbid, air travel is out! Bill Gates should sell his private jet! and AlGore and J.Kerry.
Air conditioned golf carts?

You believe you know the answer before asking the question or considering the data. Seems to be common among deniers.

No your Tesla is not helping; your energy is mostly coming from fossil fuel - unless your roof is covered with solar panels - and it is debatable if over their lifetime (manufacturing included) that they have a net 0 either. Haa

Well actually....
- Energy for the Tesla may be mostly fossil fuel but energy for ICE is 100% fossil fuels. Power on the grid is a mix of fossil, hydroelectric, wind, solar, and nuclear. US electricity is down to 60% fossil fuel (FL lags behind at about 82%). That seems helpful.
- The energy for my electric cart is less than half the cost for my gas cart. This could be due to the mixture of energy sources for electrical generation, increased efficiency in electrical generation, or better efficiency of the electric motor. In any case, an EV uses less fossil fuel than an ICE for the same distance traveled. It seems like that would help.
- At just 2,000 miles/year, my electric cart is saving me $200 in gas money, at least 20 trips to the gas station, and $150 in fuel costs overall compared to driving a car. That helps me.
- Debatable? "Unknown" would be a more accurate word. "Debatable" only due to speculation and "whataboutism."
