I did mine up north. The Ecobee Lite (Same as TV used in my house here) is dirt simple to install! The main thing you want to be sure is that you have a "C" wire. Lift the cover of your existing thermostat and if the C terminal has a wire, you're all set. If not, you can use the other option, which comes with the Ecobee, but you lose some functionality. If there's an unconnected spare wire (up north mine was blue), you can use it, but it must be connected on the HVAC side. I just asked my HVAC service guy if he'd do it when he did my Spring service. He had to open up the lower unit anyway for the service, so he didn't charge me anything. The rest I did myself. It really is dirt simple.

Looks like your model uses a C wire, so the entire changeover should take just minutes. Read all the instructions, take pictures of the existing wire connections, in case your original did something funky. The wires are all color coded (red to red, green to green, etc.).
