You are likely paying a lot for that 1Gbps, do you really need it?
- If no then you can save money by dropping to 300Mbps which is more than adequate for streaming to multiple televisions
- If yes then see if Quantum is in your area as they advertise 900Mbps for only $35.

Do you really need a home phone? (we dropped ours about ten years ago)
- If you don't then you can save by dropping that and using only your cell phone.
- If you want to keep our home phone number active then consider a service like MagicJack and port your home phone to that. We did this and after about a month we used the call forwarding capability of MagicJack to forward our calls to our cell phone. MagicJack kept the old home number active at a fairly low price but all calls came to our cell phone.

We have found that we rarely watch network television or live broadcasts. We have YouTubeTV through the football season but then pause it from February to August saving about $80/month. We spend most of our time watching shows on Netflix, Hulu, or AppleTV (free with our phone plan). I think we end up paying about $65/month for all the streaming packages we have but we should probably cancel a couple to bring that down.

Confirmation bias is real; I can find any number of articles that say so.
