Which Canadians and Siberians? Just like on TOTV you can find some folks that like one thing while others dislike it. There will always be someone who will speak opposing ideas, either out of ignorance or to propagate a falsehood.
We know the planet is heating up. We know that it is heating faster than it normally would. We know that humans are populating, polluting and plundering the planet. Huge areas of the planetary habitats and ecosystems are being systematically being destroyed by human endeavors. Short term thinkers wanting short term comforts try everything they can to deflect from the reality that humans are at the root of the planets woes, exacerbating global warming, poisoning earth, air and sea. We see the change in positions, from denying that global warming is real to acknowledging it but denying that it is a problem or that humanity plays any role. Little by little, step by step, as the truth becomes undeniable, there will still be some who will refuse to accept it. All is not right in the world, and we broke it. It's up to us, all of us, to become big boys and girls, accept we have a problem. Then, maybe, just maybe, we can try to fix it.
My time is getting short. I can't do much but be honest with myself and make some easy and practical changes. Oh, and cheer on the truth tellers.
