I used to have Xfinity, paid $30 a month for internet only. Could have used their modem/router as they were imbedded in all the apartments, but I had my own.
FYI on which ever “speed” you choose. Anything more than todays base speed, you are paying a whole lot of money for something you will never even use.
I could stream to 2 tv’s, 2 iPads & 2 iPhones at the same time, and all devices worked just fine. With their base 50mps speed.
Think having a fire hose, when all that’s ever used/needed is a garden hose.
Even now here in TV, using Centrix Fiber, base speed. 2 tv’s, 2 iPads, 2 iPhones and our daughter (graphic artist) on her laptop sending/receiving data intensive files. Not a glitch for any of us.
Again, why pay for something you will never use! Save your money and buy a Smart tv. No cable box needed, save even more off their monthly box rental.
