You really don't want to do this. Illegal and they have caught and shut down many of these services. You don't want to get caught up in that mess.

Most people stream YouTube TV and are very happy. As most have said, here for most Villagers, 500Mbs speeds are more than enough and are priced around $50 no matter who you get it from. If there is a deal for 1Gbs service for less like Quantum for $35, then get that since you can always easily with the click of a mouse, switch back to 500Mbs for $50.

Also, Remember, if you can get fiber internet, no research required, get it. You get bi-directional speeds meaning the same speed upload and download, no contract, no taxes and free equipment. Cable is "old fashioned", meaning its a shared network so you speeds and possible buffering will vary on the time of day, good download speeds but terrible upload so if you have doorbell cameras or backup you pc to the cloud it will be slow. There is absolutely no reason to pay the same or near the same price for cable service as fiber if you can get it. Finally, cable companies will alway increase your price becasue they offer TV services and have to pay the networks a franchise fee for the content they provide and these fees Always increase over time. The cable companies have no choice but to pass these increases on to their customers. The fiber companies don't provide TV so none of this applies which is why they can keep their services more constant.

If anyone wants Quantum Fiber, PM me because I can help answer your questions and see if its for you.
