The easiest way to do this is get a 50 ohm terminating resistor, and place it on one of the cables (room end), then go to the garage with an ohmmeter and see which cable shows 50 ohms, then tag the cable with the room name. Repeat for each room, I had to do this at my house since the builder did not label any of the wires.
NOTE, you can also use a small jumper and short the cable at the room end, and then look for a reading of very close to 0 ohms.
