funny! NPs are generally good at what they do, but they cannot do what a physician does. They cannot know as much as a physician knows. And they can't make decisions like a physician does. I respect the profession---I have employed more than a dozen NPs over the past 40 years, but they ARE NOT the equivalent of a physician.
Now, on to non-American doctors---I guess that wasn't supposed to be a joke either, but actually it is. I know more physicians than the poster will ever know, and best guess is that the top 10% of foreign physicians are "better" than the bottom 10% of American graduates. It's no different than stating some DOs are "better" than some MDs, but you have to hunt for them.
BTW---that's a 2024 assessment, not 1930 (when nobody knew nothing about anything). But good luck seeking out foreign physicians and NPs for medical care---let me know how that works out. On second thought, don't bother. I already know.
