When the Capitalist entity is public you can get in on the profits by buying their stock but that is not the case when it’s private. Back to the OP’s question about the Boardwalk at Sumter Landing…

I suppose a decision could be made to just demolish the Boardwalk and that might (don’t know for sure) be cheaper than building a new Boardwalk. Maybe the Developer would rather put some “skin in the game” rather than have the Boardwalk demolished. Maybe not. I wouldn’t know the legal issues with such a decision as that is above my pay grade. Just a thought.
