Florida ranking in 2022 according to data on the IIHS/HLDI website (no idea who they are):
Total number of deaths: 3rd
Deaths per 100,000 population: 15th
Deaths per 100 million miles driven: 14th
Pretty solidly at the bottom of the top 30%

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
Confirmation bias is real; I can find any number of articles that say so.
