When I buy house if I think needs any mine changes I do them myself if I got pay someone then I don’t buy the house I find one more to my liking. About every house sold in my neighborhood had major costly redos and that was after the some of owners spent 30K plus preparing if for sale listening to realtors.
Bonds in newer areas are extremely high. A buyer may want to purchase a home with no bond and remodel to their liking. The question when buying a home is: Do I want to pay a $30-70 K bond or do I want to use that money to remodel? In some cases, the decision to remodel is less costly and a smart buyer will have better quality materials.
