People here illegally don't receive social security benefits. As I said up-thread: DACA recipients who pay INTO the social security system through payroll deductions, are NOT allowed to get any of it out. They are people whose parents came here illegally with their children. The children were allowed to remain as non-citizens, but could own businesses and buy houses and go to college and work for a living when they were old enough. They pay into the system, and can't benefit from it.
People who don't have social security numbers don't pay into the system, and can't get anything out of it.
People using someone else's social security number (usually people who have been smuggled in) will never collect on it - because the number is legitimate - but belongs to someone else and that someone else will be getting the social security check.
Anyone who gets an actual paycheck in a legitimate job, with very few exceptions (some government and railroad employees) - whether the employee is here legally or not - is paying into the social security system.
