Here in northern Missouri we have 10 inches of beautiful white powder and everything looks like a Currier and Ives scene (Currier and Ives never stepped foot in Florida btw). I just finished an hour and a half of shoveling that beautiful white stuff with four foot drifts and I never felt more alive. At least I am sure I will feel great when the advil kicks in. As Nitsche said "that which does not kill you makes you stronger". I never felt stronger and it didn't kill me, though my doctor warned me that next time it might.

So keep your flowers, your cart paths, your recreation centers,
your "friendliest hometown" and all that. I am glad I don't have to live where snow shovels are not in the inventory of any store, and rock salt is used only to make homemade ice cream. Oh, I know, you are all jealous and want to know the name of a good local realtor, but no way will I share that information. We want to keep this paradise to ourselves.
