67 is a number the Social Security Administration defines as full retirement age. The SSA definition applies to the SSA, not to whether one can retire from employment. I know there are lots of people who retire at 55.

Why do people insist on making claims without looking them up first, do they really think no one will check? Proof by emphatic assertion rarely works.
