My heart goes out to those affected by the wildfires in the Los Angeles area. I have little concrete evidence but it seems they have helped with my efforts since 1991 to get practical materials for survivors/victims of crimes into libraries of all kinds. Natural disasters are a different story as you are usually dealing with insurance company representatives, FEMA, and various other entities with some volunteer organizations thrown into the mix.

Hollywood did lend a helping hand with stuff. And not for nothing. I did write a lot of people via e-mail, snail mail before that as well as maybe on Findlaw, Facebook, and other places.

I have had a lot of problems over the years with very creative and persistent trolls. And not for nothing.
