I have transported computers between my house in Ohio and kids in Georgia for several years - generally in middle of winter. I always put on floor on back seat, rather than trunk, and have never had a problem. One warning though, would be to let it warm up for several hours after you bring it in to the house, especially the monitor. Highest propensity for problem would be for a circuit card to shake loose a bit, but that shouldn't be a problem - though it could happen. I'm sure you'll get other input. I plan to do the same when I make the final move next year. Ray
