Answer: YES.
About 2006-08, went out for an early appointment (8 AM) and all the grass areas were covered in white but the roads melted and were just wet, as they stayed warm overnight. Snow on the palm leaves too. It was less than an inch but Ocala had more.

BTW, If you have an irrigation pipe that comes out of the ground and back down, cover it with blankets or styrofoam. You don't want that to freeze and crack.
