Have you tried PB blaster and allow to soak, they almost rust to the steel motor shaft.
Also, can you stick something large down in the basket, basically jamming it in between the agitator and wall of the basket?
If your agitator is spinning and not the basket, then the hub is gone and easily fixed and cheap.
IF you send me a picture, I may be able to suggest. I just looked at mine and thought about sticking something under the edge of the agitator and lifting it up with pressure, while trying to unscrew.
I won't be back in TV for 4 weeks, so I know you can't wait that long.
