Last night I was trying a fairly new sandwich shop here in Westminster, Massachusetts and they had an Italian sub. Mortadella, capicola, Genoa salami, provolone, with onions, pickles, tomato, oil and hots. The menu also had mayo on it, which I thought was strange. I removed the mayo and it was very good, almost like what I grew up with in East Boston.

Anyone from the east side of Pittsburgh PA knows the still famous Triangle Bar and Grill in Swissvale, as they made/make fantastic Italian subs (not to mention Vincents Pizza for great pizza) !
