I do not use a mouse with my MacBook. I use the computer's trackpad. Mouse versus trackpad is a matter of taste and opinion.
If I used a mouse, I would not use Apple's Magic Mouse because it is too small for my hand. Logitech makes some good ones but many mouse makers exist.
