There's also a habanero roja at the taqueria that's amazing, but only if you squeeze a thin line across your taco. Otherwise it's too hot.

There are salsas verde - green sauce - made with tomatillos and green chili peppers. There are sweet salsas, raw salsas, cooked salsas, exotic "foodie" salsas.

Pico de gallo is a raw salsa - aka salsa cruda, made with FRESH tomatoes, jarred or canned chili peppers, fresh cilantro, fresh onion, and lemon juice, all chopped up and served in a bowl. I use my food processor and pulse all the ingredients a few times to get the right consistency. I generally eat it with a spoon, or I dump it over my fake nachos (triscuits, refried beans, chopped black olives, sharp cheddar cheese. Nuke for 30 seconds to melt the cheese, then add sliced pickled jalapeno peppers, and a spoonful of pico over each triscuit.)

If you want a somewhat tasty salsa that's also healthy and not overprocessed, you can find plastic containers of it in the refrigerated bin where they keep the hummus, near the deli counter. La Mexicana's not bad, and Publix has their own brand as well.

No I don’t need no help. Thank you. I found something I like over the rest. Thanks for the tutorial on what you like .
