I live near New York City and I can tell you, they have their own dialects. in Brooklyn they put earl in their car's engine. Every bathroom is has a terlet. R's are pronounced ah at the end of the word.
I've lived in so many places in my life that nobody can figure out where the heck I'm from. Everybody thinks I talk funny.
