The switch under the floor seems to have been too sensitive. The cold weather may have affected the connection to the switch. On this cart, even with the ignition off, if I apply the brakes, the brake lights come on. It isn't that way for our other 2019 Yamaha cart.
I am surprised the 2019 battery is still running strong, but I do intend to buy a new one. Too bad there isn't a golf cart accessible auto parts store in TV.

I will bet the turn signal module or wiring to it will be different between the 2 carts.
