I’ve used Roberto’s too, and I was very pleased. Yes, they have to remove the baseboard so the planking will look perfect. They can remove the original baseboard, reinstall it, patch the nail holes, and repaint it (they are VERY good at that), or they can replace it with fancier 6” baseboard. I had it replaced, as the cost was quite modest. They cut the new baseboard on the driveway and spray it with primer. Then they install it using a pneumatic finish nailer, then carefully spray a finish coat of paint. I’m glad I had the upgraded trim installed. It looks great. They do exemplary work.
