Plant based kits are outrageous in price, that was being ordered for my parents. I took an hour every two weeks, make everything that hungry root included in that meal kit. Divide into 10 meals, freeze. Separately I grill, bake, or sear, 10 different protein portions (fish, chicken, x3 each beef, pork x2 Freeze. Some meal kits are literally overwhelming to follow prep

So they could choose to have just a plant base, or add any protein. Better quality, and portion control, quick and easy for them. Cost was about 1/4 of the sometimes questionable deliveries.
For me an hour of hands on time, visit, take care of stuff and make them healthy food. Grocery was delivered from Kroger, on my time slot, so no shopping.

Kroger also does meal kits you can order with grocery, so that is an option. I love convenience for them, but not the quality especially using a plant base.
