I don't pay much attention to the halftime show because it's too hard to hear, even when it's a performer I'm familiar with. But I think a rap like this was fast and too hard to understand. I had to go read about it.
I couldn’t hear it either and had to read the explanations.

While the tickets are expensive, I doubt they really amount to much in the grand scheme of things. Commercial spots bring in a huge amount of money and advertisers want customers. Attracting a younger audience to watch the show and see the commercials is what justifies the $8M price tag.
