Veterans get a very small benefit from tax relief, if you look at the small discount on property taxes. It's not even as much as homestead exemption, which is what, something like 50%??
Even if they really did give full time residents total exemption from property taxes, why do part timers think they should benefit from it. Why do they think that it is unfair to them? They are not totally committed residents of Florida if they have two different state homes and come here just to take advantage of a vacation home. Not everyone can afford two homes. Quit crying about someone else getting more break than you.
