Default Simon Scarrow's "Revenge of Rome"

This just came out on Tuesday. Had bought it on Amazon but it was lost in transit in the US Postal Service. Probably put in the wrong box at the Lynnhaven Mail Center. My new copy arrived today by the usual Amazon delivery.

These books in the Eagles of the Empire series about the Roman soldiers Cato and Macro are fun .

This one is a take on the burning of what would eventually become London by the followers of Boudica in 61 AD.

It will be very interesting to see what happens to Cato and Macro if Mr . Scarrow is still writing when the story gets to 68 -69 AD-- the Year of Four Emperors (Galba, Otho, Vitellius, and Vespasian). Basically there were civil wars that year with Roman armies battling it out for control of the Empire .
